Bumpy ride out this morning but it was all worth it once we got set up. I worked non stop all morning to keep lines in the water and only a few times did. I ever get them all in. We caught just about everything this morning, walleye, sheepshead, perch, white perch, and catfish. We had just about as many sheepshead as we did walleye which kept us busy cranking all morning.

We set up on the edge of the bar and trolled down wind which was due south. The first pass was a bust and after about an hour we only had 4 fish. We pulled lines and headed out to the horseshoe. Once we got set up there the bite was on and we ended up with a 4 man 32 fish limit for the guys in one pass

The guys made the trip down from Alpena to see what the Saginaw bay walleye fishery is all about. The fish didn’t disappoint and we had a killer morning. We set up south of the marina on the edge of the bar and pointed down wind which had us heading east. It pushed us off the edge of the bar and by the time we got done we were in the center of the slot off of Thomas rd. we caught fish the whole pass and there want many times where we had all of the lines in the water at once. We ended with 45 fish just shy of a 6 man limit!
